I am a third generation Italian photographer based in Teresina, Brazil. I began my journey in my father’s professional laboratory, working as a colour film developer before even picking up the camera.
From a very young age, I started shooting analogue photography, completing my first band promo shoot at just 14, marking the beginning of a lifelong connection with music and image making.
Driven by my passion for Metal, I took that early foundation into the pit, photographing bands like Down, Obituary, Slayer and Queens of the Stone Age.
To support my craft, I pursued a growing curiosity for cooking and stepped into professional kitchens. I worked in Michelin starred restaurants in London, in the fast paced kitchens of Ferrari in Formula 1, MotoGP with Ducati, and later as a private chef for Mr Stroll (Aston Martin Team owner). The intensity and long hours demanded full commitment, and as a result photography gradually slipped into the background without me even noticing.
After this period, I opened a restaurant in Spain with my wife, which we ran for three years. During this time, in 2024, photography was slowly coming back into my life, but it was after assisting a Cavalera show in Madrid and being given the opportunity by Gloria Cavalera to photograph a Soulfly show in Granada that it became clear I needed to return to photography and follow my true passion. I eventually sold the restaurant to invest in new photographic equipment and start again where I left off, returning fully to photography.
Since then, while based in Spain, I’ve covered shows featuring bands like Carcass, Crowbar, Napalm Death and Brujeria, and worked with the legendary thrash metal band Onslaught. During this time, I also began collaborating with Metal Hammer Spain, contributing photography.
Since moving to Brazil, I have expanded this collaboration into writing and conducting interviews, including an interview with the legendary Shane Embury, along with album reviews, such as a review of the godfathers of death metal, Immolation. Writing, once a part of my life through lyrics for my band, has always been present deep down in me, but now it feels different more fulfilling, deeply satisfying, and with a stronger sense of meaning. It is something that makes me feel excited to continue to explore more deeply and develop into something bigger.
My mission is to document the raw, visceral essence of Metal on tour, on stage, and through video and album imagery, working across live photography, band promo shoots, tour coverage, and video content for bands and labels worldwide.
I’m driven by live music, travel and the constant pursuit of new culinary experiences that continue to shape my perspective.
